Report to Moderator. My JD 40 has hydraulic leaks and problems with the hydraulic unit. It has dual levers and only one will lift only one of the lift arms. I suspect the pump is working since one lever will respond. I am contemplating trying to remove the unit and overhaul it. It was suggested to me that I overhaul the seals in the steering motor so I did.
